Sarah Jones, the 26-year-old former Dixie Heights High School teacher, has been indicted on charges she had sex with a student while she was teaching.

Authorities say that Jones had sex with a student while she was a teacher at Dixie Heights High School. She was indicted on a first-degree charge of sexual abuse and one count of unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual or prohibited acts. I am going to guess she sent the teen pictures.)

Sarah Jones resigned from her teaching position in November, 2011. Her resignation notice was quite short, one sentence, citing "personal reasons" as her reason for quitting the job.

She is currently the team captain for the Cincinnati BenGals cheerleading squad and has cheered with them for the last five years.

Sarah Jones' bond was set at $50,000.

Mississippi Teacher Jennifer McCullum

Back in May of 2010, a teacher at Petal High School in Petal, Mississippi was indicted following an sexual-related investigation. Police arrested 38-year-old Jennifer McCullum for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old student.

This week, Jennifer McCullum pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery for having sexual intercourse with a minor while in a position of authority.

The mother has been sentenced to five years of probation on top of five days in jail she already served last year.

Shelley Linder, a 25-year-old science teacher at Brazosport High School was arrested after she allegedly had sex with two students.

According to police, Linder had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy in 2009 and then a 17-year-old boy in 2010.
