Some say females tend to get off easy (no pun intended), whenever it comes to punishment for sexual offenses against teenage boys.
Here to change all that is 33-year-old Natalie Johnson of Diboll, Texas. This week, a judge in Texas sentenced Johnson to 25 years in prison. The sentence followed a tearful apology and plea for forgiveness by Johnson.
In February, Natalie Johnson pleaded guilty to having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy. According to Johnson’s defense, her judgment was clouded by drugs, including crystal meth and booze. In fact, she admitted to getting the boy drunk on tequila with her. This, she says, was a result of trying to deal with her mother’s terminal illness.
According to earlier published reports, Johnson and the teen boy had sex approximately seven times last summer. Johnson was a longtime friend of her victim's parents and had a 13-year-old son of her own.
The boy would often meet-up with Johnson after sneaking out of his grandparents' home in the middle of the night. Some of the encounters took place in a park and others in Johnson's apartment. Investigators later found over 1,500 calls and text messages between Johnson and the boy.
Natalie Johnson was a resident of Deer Park, Texas before moving to Diboll in East Texas.
